CELEBRITY Wes anderson

Iconic director Wes Anderson is taking his eye off the big screen and making his debut as a museum art curator. Collaborating with his partner, Juman Malouf, the two have been given total access to the archives at The Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Austria.

"This autumn we are presenting a very special exhibition, which will be quite unlike anything we've ever done before," Jasper Share, curator of The Kunsthistorisches Museum said in a promotion for the exhibit. "We have given Wes and Juman a very special but somewhat overwhelming invitation: to sort through all of the objects in our museum."

Knowing Anderson's distinct flare for the unconventional, audiences are excitedly looking forward to seeing his cinematic style transformed onto the walls of a museum. With Egyptian mummies, Greek, and Roman antiquities, old master paintings, and much more at his disposal, there is no saying what exact focus the director will take. However, one can assume it may be centered.

The Wes Anderson and Juman Malouf exhibit will open on November 6, 2018, and run through to April 28, 2019.
