With the satirical target of $2 million, rapper Vince Staples started a GoFundMe account that will facilitate him quitting the music industry.

Last year the rapper released his second album, titled 'Big Fish Theory,' that he has recently been on the road touring. Due to criticism, Staples decided to create a page where his haters could donate money to get him to stop rapping.

In a video on the page, he says, "First and foremost, I hope you’re having a great day. I really do. Second, we’ve gotten a lot of complaints about our recent show performances, energy on stage, production choice. I think one person said it sounds like we’re rapping on robot video game beats. We’d like to apologize for that."

Staples then goes on to explain that if he reaches his $2 million goal, he will disappear and never be heard from again, "No songs, interviews, no anything," he said.

On the obviously sarcastic page, Staples explains if the page is successful he will move to Palmdale, California, purchase a Honda, a puppy, and pay for a “year supply of soups for the homies locked down.”

So far, the account has reached $1,239 out of the $2 million goal. While musicians and most celebrities alike face a constant stream of online negativity, Staples' unique way of responding may put some of the criticism to rest.
