Kali Uchis has shared some important details about her upcoming debut album on ‘The Tonight Show,' hosted by Jimmy Fallon. The Colombian singer was there to perform ‘After the Storm,' her new single featuring Bootsy Collins and Tyler the Creator. She performed in an outfit inspired by Salma Hayek’s performance in ‘From Dusk till Dawn.' After Uchi's appearance, Fallon took the stage to announce her album. “‘Isolation’ is out April 6," the presenter said, sharing a picture of the sensual album cover. You can watch the stunning performance over on YouTube.
This record has been a long time coming for Uchi's fans. It will be the first project from the singer since her ‘Por Vida’ EP, which was released in 2015. ‘Isolation’ is supported by three exciting singles including ‘After the Storm' and the Reykon-featuring ‘Nuestro Planeta,’ which is an eco-friendly dancehall song in Spanish. Perhaps her most popular single so far has been ‘Tyrant,' a sultry duet with British R&B singer Jorja Smith. Smith recently won the Critics’ Choice prize at the Brit Awards this year.
