Recently, Netflix Originals has been a force of well-produced documentaries and docuseries. The next release will give viewers an inside look into one of the most notorious cults to infiltrate American society.

Titled 'Wild Wild Country,' the six-part series will tell the story of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, an Indian guru who came to the desert of Wasco County, OR in 1981. Rajneesh was on a mission to form a utopian society called Rajneeshpuram, and gained followers throughout his travels.

When residents of the neighboring town, Antelope, grew wary of the guru's cultural practices and free-love teachings, tensions rose dramatically in the area. This ultimately led to the 1984 Rajneeshee bioterror attack, where 751 individuals were deliberately food poisoned—marking the largest bioterrorism attack in history.

'Wild Wild Country' first debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January and has received positive feedback due to its chilling direction and suspenseful editing. This docuseries will be available for streaming on Netflix on March 16.
