Aboah believes Gurls Talk was meant "to create a space wherein girls can have honest conversations about everything," she told Teen Vogue. Instead of a platform where girls were merely being told how to feel, Aboah emphasized the importance of conversations coming "from women these girls can relate to, women who are speaking from experience," she said.
In collaboration with Coach and Teen Vogue, Aboah is bringing the Gurls Talk Festival to Brooklyn, NY on March 11. Admission is free and open to the public, you just need to RSVP at email@example.com.
