Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim made headlines this winter by landing two 1080s in the women's snowboard half-pipe to win her first Olympic gold medal on February 13.

When Frances McDormand took the stage to collect her Oscar for Best Actress in the film, 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,' she gave a nod to Kim's recent achievement.

“I think is what Chloe Kim must have felt like after doing back-to-back 1080s in the Olympic half-pipe,” said McDormand, accepting her Academy Award.

It's always a special moment when two women who have accomplished greatness come together in mutual appreciation.

Kim noticed the shout-out in the speech and responded via Twitter, saying, "I am SHOOK rn like what." Then followed up by tweeting, "Hey Frances let's go snowboarding sometime."
