Roseanne Barr's appearance at last year's ABC Upfront built buzz around 'Roseanne' for the wrong reasons—namely her cast's awkward and uncomfortable chemistry—but, this year, Barr got it right.
The star tweeted, "guys, i sang a song for abc upfronts and ppl are really shocked that I can sing. I finally recovered from my huge anthem screw up, and no longer fear singing in public! I'll post the link on tuesday night-live tweeting show too!" [sic]
The "huge anthem screw up" she's referring to is her attempt at the National Anthem in 1990, which has been described as shrieking rather than singing. This also involved a crotch grab and a comment from the President of the United States.guys, i sang a song for abc upfronts and ppl are really shocked that I can sing. I finally recovered from my huge anthem screw up, and no longer fear singing in public! I'll post the link on tuesday night-live tweeting show too!
