Celebs offer to write series for other 'Roseanne' actors

In the wake of 'Roseanne' being canceled, other famed comedy writers have jumped on the opportunity to pick up the slack.
Mindy Kaling took to Twitter to say, "Laurie Metcalf and John Goodman let me write things for you."

Then Lena Dunham followed up with another possible series, saying, "I will do the spin off of your show starring Darlene’s cool kids."

ABC executives decided to officially cancel 'Roseanne' after Barr posted a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a former Obama adviser. While she is receiving waves of backlash for her actions, the rest of the cast and crew of the show are now looking for their next gig. Looks like Kaling and Dunham may be here to save the day.
