Throughout his tenure, Kenan Thompson has in many ways become the staple of 'Saturday Night Live.' While he is not the most outrageous or standout comic, his presence in the sketch show has become a constant.

Thompson first auditioned for 'SNL' in 2003, and is now the longest-running cast member in the show's history. While this is undoubtedly one of the highest honors in the entertainment industry, is Thompson stagnant?

"I think about leaving and I fear it," the comic said of his comfort on 'SNL', according to Mashable. "This is such a special place, you want to do your part here, but you also want to make room for people that are coming behind you," Thompson said.

Before his time on the 'SNL' stage, Thompson made a name for himself on the Nickelodeon equivalent 'All That.' With group sketch comedy being the quintessence of his career, Thompson has found a way to make individual success in being a team player.

"I’ve also known that I need people. If I was able to sit down and type a sketch all by myself, I might be more of a d***," he said. "I’m humble enough to know that I do well when I’m working with others."
