You might know her from 'Saturday Night Live' or the latest 'Ghostbusters' film, but Leslie Jones has probably made you laugh at some point. She's a writer and comedian who has consistently popped up in the world of comedy, where everyone seems to know her face. 

Like all comedians, Jones's start was nothing like the glamorous writer rooms that she works in today. Her start was, however, full of character, sass, and amazing outfits. 

Jones tweeted that when she was first getting her foot in the door she performed at drag shows, and she claims they were the most entertaining shows she's ever done. 

1/2 On my grind up I did comedy at drag shows. Literally there was a bar down the street from my house didn’t even know. My 1st Time I was like whoa these are real manly men in skirts and heels I cant even wear. But it was the most fun shows I ever did! @RuPaul @RuPaulsDragRace

She continued, "crowd was always live as f**k! The comics would be nervous & I was like 'just be funny' I [remember] my first joke was! 'Ok when I get famous who is gonna do me in drag cause I need to approve that s**t' Always got paid too! So fun! @RuPaul @RuPaulsDragRace #season5shutupiknowimlate."

This nostalgic moment was spurred by Jones's (rather late) appreciation of season five of 'RuPaul's Drag Race,' a show where 14 drag queens compete for the title of America's Next Drag Superstar, which is in its 10th season now.

Jones has been tweeting about the show for hours in a row, which can only mean she's been bingeing it like the rest of us.
