Cardi B moved to have her legal deposition date pushed back because it was too close to her forthcoming labor. In her final months of pregnancy, TMZ reports that the rappers due date will be sometime in early July.

Cardi B is in a legal battle with Kevin Brophy, who is claiming that the musician used him in her album cover without permission. The racy album cover includes a man between Cardi B's legs, sporting tattoos all over his back and arms. Brophy claims that the distinct back art is his, and that he's had it for the past ten years. 

The legal team representing Cardi B motioned to have the deposition date moved from July 25 to September 7, 2018.  

TMZ reported that legal documents state the deposition was moved because Cardi B is "in her final month of pregnancy and about to give birth."
