Famed actor and writer Amy Poehler has made it very clear that she is done answering shallow interview questions. As one of the entertainers interviewed for The Hollywood Reporter’s 'The 40(ish) Most Powerful People in Comedy' list, the 'Parks and Recreation' star was not there for the jokes.
When Poehler was asked to name her “most memorable heckler,” she sharply answered, “Who cares? The whole world is on fire.” When asked about her “dream product endorsement,” she said that “a giant whale just died in Thailand after eating 80 plastic bags.” Rather than divulging her guilty pleasure, Poehler stated that over "4,600 people have died in Puerto Rico.”
Fellow actor and comedian Rachel Dratch shared a screenshot of Poehler's interview on Twitter, writing, "Amy Poehler was named one of the 40 most powerful people in comedy and her answers to these questions are genius:"
