Christopher Noth, the actor who played "Mr. Big" in the hit TV series 'Sex and the City,' just made a large contribution to his former co-star's political campaign. Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda on the show, is currently running for governor of New York and her old cast is here for support.
According to a financial document that was made public, Noth made a $2,500 donation to her campaign for the Democratic nomination, the Daily News reported.
Noth joins a long, star-studded list of Nixon's financial backers. From other 'Sex and the City' co-stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker ($5,000) and Kristin Davis ($2,000), to a considerable donation from Alec Baldwin ($16,000).
For the final two months of her primary campaign, Nixon reportedly has $657,438, and has spent more than $953,000 so far. As a lifelong New York resident, Nixon is hoping that by securing the governor position, she can advocate for education, marriage equality, and women’s rights.
