Iconic pop star Britney Spears is no stranger to substance addiction. In the wake of Demi Lovato's overdose, the management team behind Spears isn't taking any chances with her sobriety.

“Britney’s team set strict guidelines that no alcohol at all could be served backstage," a source told News.au. “Apparently this is the policy throughout her tour.”

Spears' turbulent time in the spotlight came to a climax in 2007 when she shaved her head and had a highly publicized public breakdown. The management team behind the 'Piece of Me' singer has supported her through her long and wildly successful career, and especially in guiding her back to sobriety.

“She’s in a Britney bubble. She’s healthy; she just celebrated another year of sobriety,” the source assured.

Spears has had an incredibly successful residency in Las Vegas. The star performed her 'Piece of Me' show at Planet Hollywood a staggering 248 times over her four year run. Now, Spears is taking the show on the road heading to London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, and Oslo.
