CELEBRITY Lawsuit

When you have reached the celebrity status of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, there is likely no judge in the world that doesn't already know about your family drama.

Regardless, there is no place for signing autographs in the courtroom. The latest news in Brit and K-Fed's ongoing custody battle is a pointed statement from Mark Vincent Kaplan, who is representing Federline.

In documents that were first discovered by The Blast, Kaplan states, "The California Superior Court is not the Coachella Music Festival, there are no front of the line VIP passes … and the court is interested in doing what's best for the children, and not for extraordinarily wealthy parents."

The current debate between the celebrity parents is over the exact amount Spears should have to pay Federline in monthly child support. Thus far, Spears has refused to raise the price from the already staggeringly high $20,000 per month stipend.

While child support battle is probably far from over, it looks like now Federline's legal team is making it personal with pop culture references.
