CELEBRITY Meghan Markle
It seems like Thomas Markle is saying just about anything to get his daughter's attention. In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, the father of Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle had some choice words about the British royal family—even the late-Princess Diana.
"They [the Royal Family] have Meghan treating her father in a way that Harry's mother, Princess Diana, would have loathed," Thomas Markle said. "That's not what Diana stood for."
News surrounding Meghan Markle's family has been swirling around the media since her and Prince Harry's courtship. While the new Duchess has been busy attending royal events, her father has been busy talking to media outlets.
With these recent statements about Princess Diana, many wonder if that will be the last straw for ever getting Meghan's forgiveness. Thomas explained, "I don't care if Harry never speaks to me again, I'll survive." Though he also mentioned, "If Meghan never speaks to me again, I don't know how I can go on without my heart breaking."
Will Thomas Markle's latest interview grant him contact with Meghan? Stay tuned to find out about all of the royal riffs.
