The iconic singer and Goddess of Pop recently had her mansion swarmed by police, who apparently found exactly what they were looking for: a huge pile of drugs. But, don't worry, it wasn't hers.
She wasn't holding it for a friend either! According to TMZ, Donovan Ruiz, the 23-year-old son of one of her assistants who lives at her residence, was arrested on-site after cops found a plethora of narcotics and paraphernalia both on Ruiz and in his room. Fentanyl powder and patches, unknown pills in white, pink, and yellow, Xanax, Suboxone strips, and a Gucci box containing burnt tin foil and a straw with brown residue were among the things police discovered.
And that's not all. Boxes of .22 calibre bullets were also found in Ruiz's room—so close to where the cherished star sleeps! The cops reportedly had reason to believe Ruiz was selling narcotics and had sold heroin to a Ventura County resident who died, resulting in their search warrant for the mansion.
Luckily, Cher was on tour and not at home at the time of the arrest. But the burning question remains: does Ruiz believe in life after drugs?
