Erika La’ Pearl, Cardi B's trusted makeup artist has just revealed why Kulture has remained hidden. “The reason she didn’t want to show her baby is because there are negative people on Instagram and a lot of negative people on social media,” La’ Pearl told Hollywood Life. “She doesn’t want anyone talking about her baby because she’s very protective.”

Mom-shaming is one of the most prevalent forms of abuse on social media. From racist trolls attacked Khloé Kardashian's daughter to paparazzi constantly following Angelina Jolie's family, having your home life in the spotlight can reap negative consequences.

Cardi B has already been targeted on social media throughout her pregnancy, and afterwards, so it makes sense why she is keeping her daughter away from that for now. La’ Pearl continued to explain that, “She actually wanted to show her baby, but after that happened, I highly doubt she’s going to show her off anytime soon. Cardi is always reading those comments, and it affects her.”
