Neil Patrick Harris seems to have it all figured out, with a husband, two children, and an iconic TV role to his name. But apparently things weren't always so clean-cut for the actor.
In an awkward exchange on 'The View' October 11, Harris spoke about working with host Whoopi Goldberg on his first ever film, 1988's 'Clara's Heart,' and an exchange that has never quite left his mind.
“She told me, I was 15, 16 years old, she told me on my last day of shooting that in 10 years’ time she was going to have sex with me,” he said.
In a time of immense sensitivity about sexual interactions in the workplace, it makes sense that the audience was a mixture of shock and giggles.
Goldberg smirked for a moment, then responded, "I might've!"
She explained that Harris had many questions at that young age, and so she told him, “Listen, wait 10 years, and I’ll take you through it."
Goldberg lamented that, back then, you could have fun and make jokes like that, but now people get upset. Harris clarified that he wasn't offended by her offer, and that he's still looking forward to it. This all must be a little odd for his husband.
