Keira Knightley may be a successful actress, but some films are strictly limited in her home. During a recent appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' the British star revealed that she has banned her 3-year-old daughter from watching certain Disney movies.
The touchy topic was brought up when DeGeneres asked Knightley about what sort of things her daughter is into, "She's banned from seeing certain children's movies, right? What are they?"
“'Cinderella,’” Knightley quickly replied. “Banned, because she waits around for a rich guy to rescue her—Don't." The star continued, “Rescue yourself, obviously.”
Knightley also said another famous Disney film has been thrown out of their DVD collection. “And this is the one that I’m quite annoyed about because I really like the film, but ‘Little Mermaid,’” she said. “I mean, the songs are great, but do not give your voice up for a man. Hello.”
So what films are allowed in the Knightley home? 'Finding Dory,' of course!
