Brave celebrities open up about their abortions
Alabama’s abortion bill has women coming forward to break the stigma

On May 14, the Alabama Senate voted to pass a bill that would outlaw almost all abortions in the state. As a result, numerous female celebrities are coming forward with their abortion experiences. Actress and TV host Busy Philipps spoke about her abortion, at age 15, on her show ‘Busy Tonight.’ She explained that one in four women have an abortion, and said, “Maybe you’re sitting there thinking, ‘I don’t know a woman who would have an abortion.’ Well, you know me.”
