Using all-natural ingredients, Linda Miller Nicholson, creates colorful gourmet pasta creations.
Known online as @saltyseattle, Nicholson's vibrant Italian food has won the hearts of 130,000 followers. Whether it's pink and green ribbons, ladybug ravioli, or perfect rainbow bows, these bright dishes look too good to eat—well, almost.
By using vegetable pigments to achieve her color pallete, Nicholson's combinations are incredibly inventive. It is no wonder her website dubs her as "Linda the pasta ninja."
To make red pasta she blends peppers, paprika, beets, and tomatoes.
Orange is prepared by mixing butternut squash, turmeric, red peppers, cayenne, and paprika.
“You can make any shade in the world,” Nicholson told Saveur.com. Her bright blue is a surprising combination of spirulina, purple cabbage, and blueberries.
Both colorful and nutritious, Nicholson's pasta is artful while always remaining true to what flavors pair well together. Drawing inspiration from fashion, pop culture, art, and just everyday household items, these technicolor masterpieces are one of a kind.
