FOOD Wine

The combination of wine and cheese is a food marriage like no other. Throwing together a celebration? Add these pairings to your dinner party for a cheese board that is sure to impress.

Prosecco and parmesan: Start your party off with a bit of bubbles and parm. This Italian pairing is just perfecto.

Cabernet Sauvignon and gouda:  The nutty flavors in aged gouda pair well with a tannic, full-bodied red wine.

Chardonnay and Gruyère: This delicious, hard yellow cheese goes best with the fruity and almost nutty elements of chardonnay.

Malbec and aged cheddar: The richness of a good malbec balances out the sharpness of the aged cheddar. While both are good individually, when they're put together you get the perfect pair.

Pinot Noir and Brie: A good brie cheese needs a wine with a distinct flavor, but not so much that it overwhelms the soft cheese. A glass of pinot noir with a wedge of brie is always a great addition to your tasting menu.

Port and bleu cheese: The sweetness of the port wine is the perfect accent to the pungent bleu cheese. When it comes to wine and cheese, opposites do attract!
