Can you imagine a high-end remake of one of the classic candy bars that you never wanted on Halloween? Italian chocolatier Ferrero Rocher is taking on Butterfinger to reinvent the taste and style of the recognizable yellow-wrapped candy.
Since Ferrero Rocher took over the American candy production giant, Nestlé, staples like Butterfinger, Crunch Bar, Nerds, and SweetTarts are being reinvented, according to reports from Quartzy.
A Butterfinger is comprised of all the essential elements for a great candy bar—milk chocolate coating, crunchy peanut butter center, and enough sugar to send you to the dentist. But in 2018, do consumers want more from their dessert indulgence?
Ferrero Rocher is going to change everything you once knew about Butterfinger, with new artisan ingredients and hip metallic packaging that promises to sustain the shelf life of the candy bar.
The new and improved Butterfinger will come to a grocery store near you in 2019.
