In Dr. James D'Adamo's book 'The Body Ecology Diet,' he explains how blood type impacts your health, dietary habits, and even your personality.
People with blood type A are described as being sensitive, clever, passionate, and intelligent. They tend to struggle with sleep, and often bottle up anxiety until there is an eventual blowup. Excessive stress, unfortunately, impacts their immune systems more than other types.
Those with the blood type B are found to be flexible, thoughtful, and ambitious. They are highly empathetic, and often struggle with confrontation. Dr. D'Adamo told Body Ecology that people with this type have strong immune systems, but are more prone to viral infections like MS, lupus, and chronic fatigue.
Only 2-5% of the population has type AB blood. Those with this type can be described as popular and charming. They are seen as free spirits, but they are also often considered flaky. When it comes to health, their immune system is directly affected by their stress level.
People with blood type O tend to be described as leaders, and are focused, daring, intuitive, and self-reliant. They typically have strong immune systems and handle stress better than other types. Due to their sluggish blood flow, type O needs to get daily exercise.
