The horrific dangers of penis enlargement procedures
Some things just aren't worth going under the knife for...
For purely aesthetic reasons, men are undergoing a new procedure to enlarge their manhood.
But penis-enlarging procedures, which are still relatively new, can actually have dangerous complications, risks, and side effects, as is the norm with any surgery or medical procedure.
A team of researchers had a look at 11 patients who suffered complications following their enhancement procedures. They found that some of the greatest complications that came from such a surgery included: penile swelling and deformity, penile skin gangrene, and a condition called "buried penis."
Penile and scrotal enhancement surgery can be associated with major disabling complications, leading to deformity and functional compromise in men with prior normal anatomy and function. Patients should be aware of these risks. #openaccess #penilesurgery https://t.co/SwMYl1uCsI pic.twitter.com/sVQ7ymgj90— Journal Sexual Med. (@jsexmed) November 23, 2018
