A comedian turned director, Bo Burnham released the trailer for his highly anticipated film, 'Eighth Grade.' The middle school satire follows 13-year-old Kayla (played by Elsie Fisher), who is figuring out technology, life, and herself.

"Okay so growing up can be a little bit scary...and weird," Fisher narrates in the trailer for the film. "You never know what's next, and that's what makes things exciting."

During the last week of eighth grade, Kayla is fighting with her father, voted "most quiet," and uploading a vlog describing herself to her peers. "I don't talk a lot at school, but if people talked to me they would find out I'm really funny, cool, and talkative," Fisher says to the camera.

This coming-of-age story promises laughs, tears, and tons of hormonal angst. This may just be a Burnham masterpiece. 'Eighth Grade' is coming to select theaters July 13, 2018.
