MOVIES Friday the 13th

Love old school horror films? Want to make the thrills a bit more thrilling? Camp Crystal Lake from 'Friday the 13th' is opening its doors to campers in April.

The infamous horror film was shot at the real-life Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in New Jersey. Usually, the camp is strictly reserved for Boy Scouts and machete-wielding maniacs, but now bunks at the camp are being auctioned off to the highest bidders.

'Friday the 13th' has been one of the most successful horror film franchises of all time. Currently, there are 11 film remakes since the original. Set at Camp Crystal Lake, the plot follows a hockey-mask-wearing villain believed to be Jason Voorhees, as he stalks and brutally murders teenagers who are visiting for the summer.

Slasher horror movie fans who sign up for the tour will get to visit all of the classic film locations seen in the original movie, eat in the iconic camp dining hall, and even spend the night in the bunks.

In April 2018, tours will begin Friday the 13th (of course) and Saturday the 14th. Tickets range from $135-$175 depending on the package you choose.
