A documentary that will recount experiences of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, FL is coming to Freeform. The hour-long feature, titled 'For Our Lives: Parkland,' will follow the student activists who have been protesting against gun violence since the attack. The documentary is a collaboration between Freeform and 'Nightline.'

In a press release for the documentary, Freeform explained that "The impactful messages conveyed in the special are integral to Freeform's identity, which continues to set itself apart from other content platforms by delivering stories that energize and empower young adults to celebrate the power of possibility and inclusivity."

On February 14, a gunman attacked the high school campus and murdered 17 people. Following the attack, a group of student activists have been protesting and appealing to lawmakers about increasing gun control legislation.
