In honor of the iconic musician, Prince's previously unreleased 'Piano & A Microphone 1983' LP will be available to the public in September, according to reports from NME. The announcement comes on what would be Prince's 60th birthday.

In collaboration with Warner Bros., the musician's estate has agreed to market the album. As the name implies, 'Piano & A Microphone 1983' contains a series of songs that Prince self-recorded in his Minnesota home, according to NME.

The nine-track LP includes an early version of Prince's iconic 'Purple Rain,' as well as a cover of Joni Mitchell’s hit ‘A Case Of You.’ See the full list below:

Prince's estate announced that, “This raw, intimate recording, which took place at the start of Prince’s career right before he achieved international stardom, is similar in format to the Piano & A Microphone Tour that he ended his career with in 2016," they wrote. “The Estate is excited to be able to give fans a glimpse of his evolution and show how his career ultimately came full circle with just him and his piano.”

‘Piano & A Microphone 1983’ will be released on September 21.
