Nevada - Many people attribute the all-you-can-eat buffet to Vegas, though many feel this isn't a state food option. The Las Vegas Review-Journal suggests that shrimp cocktail would make a great alternative as it’s become an icon in southern Nevada.

Pennsylvania - We've no idea why the Philly cheese steak has not been chosen as Pennsylvania’s state food. Melted cheese and beefsteak? Seems like a slam dunk.

Rhode Island - A favorite of all those who live in or have visited Rhode Island is coffee milk. Originating in the state, it’s made by mixing coffee syrup with milk, much in the way chocolate milk is made. It has become Rhode Island’s state beverage.
