Next time you travel to Toronto, Canada, visit the restaurant that is entirely dedicated to a dish called poutine. The original form of the plate starts with french fries, adds cheese curds, and tops it off with gravy. At Poutini's House of Poutine, however, customers have eight different variations to choose from.
Fred and Nick Laliberte are brothers and co-owners of the specialty destination. According to the restaurant's website, every aspect of the dish is taken into special consideration and made of the highest quality. The french fries are double-fried Belgian style, with zero trans fat and non-hydrogenated vegetable oil. They get their cheese curds delivered every other day, for optimal squeakiness. And lastly they offer traditional, vegetarian, and even vegan/gluten-free gravy.
Poutini's House of Poutine has built a name for itself in its vast variety of toppings and variations. From adding pulled pork to the dish to topping it off with bacon and maple syrup, customers can create the poutine of their dreams.
