This live jazz bar at LAX will soothe your travel stresses
Head to Sam First at the airport entrance
Sam First is a hip jazz bar and lounge just 10 minutes from the entrance of the bustling airport. A premium Los Angeles nightlife destination has truly never been more accessible. Plus, the hip decor, abundance of seating, and live music are sure to make you feel farther from the gate than you really are.
"It's fun to have people here at the bar who are from anywhere in the world," the bar's owner, Paul Solomon, told Circa. "They might be here for the night from Australia, or the Maldives, or the Netherlands. Just thinking of people I've met here recently."
The sleek modern bar also has an element of history. "Sam First was my grandfather's name," Solomon said. "He was a tailor here in Los Angeles, and so you can see the needle and the thread in our logo."
Check out Sam First next time you have some time to spare at LAX.
