Devil’s charm: Tom Ellis leads viral campaign to save his show ‘Lucifer’

Tom Ellis has been pretty busy lately. The actor has led a viral campaign to save ‘Lucifer,’ a sci-fi show in which he plays the lead character. It all started when Ellis announced that the show was cancelled on Twitter:
It has been the most amazing experience over the past 3 years playing Lucifer and falling in love with you, the fans. It fills me with great sadness to confirm the rumours that some of you have been asking. Fox has indeed cancelled #lucifer I’m so sorry guys. #gutted

However, it wasn’t all over for Ellis, when he realized that ‘Lucifer’ fans just weren’t having it. #SaveLucifer starting trending, with a whopping 36,000 tweets sent out with the hashtag. Over the past weeks, Ellis has been rallying support online.
